The Maroon Conditioning Pad is constructed of polyester fibers in a textured nonwoven fabrication. Abrasive particles are distributed throughout and bonded to the nonwoven construction with a sturdy adhesive. Use between laying new coats of urethane on wood floors to create a light scratch pattern on the previous coat. It can also be used for light cleaning of wood floors. For use on standard electric floor machines or automatic scrubbers. Ideal for use on machines speeds up to 350 rpm. The Maroon Conditioning pad has been specifically designed for abrading floors between coats of urethane finish. First, make sure the floor’s surface is completely dry by following the finish manufacturer’s directions. Next, dust mop or sweep floor to make sure it is free of dust and debris before the next step of using the Maroon Conditioning pad, on a low speed machine, to produce a light scratch pattern on floor’s surface. Pick up the residual dust generated with a mop, wet vacuum or auto scrubber. Rinse the floor and let dry prior to re-coating.
